What your calendar says about you
The simple fact of having a calendar has changed things in the organization of our business. Yes, it is true that for a little less than a year we have been working in a “wild” way. Well, at least my team. I have always had one but now we also work with this tool together as a team.
Reminder or organizational tool?
For many, a calendar is simply a reminder for relatives’ birthdays or to take out the trash (here in Germany there are specific days when different types of trash are collected and if you don’t take out the trash can for each item you miss the collection).
That’s the first question. If you’re only netherlands whatsapp number data using the calendar as a reminder tool at the moment, you still have a lot of room for improvement.
Space for meetings and another for working
Every meeting requires preparation. Just Jinsi ya kuunda ukurasa wa kutua kwa ufanisi as you need to plan your meetings, you need to plan your preparation time accordingly. The alternative is to work spontaneously, not prepare for meetings or only prepare them halfway.
Ask yourself these questions.
What (important) meetings do I have this week?
When am I going to prepare them?
Do I have any reserved spaces for this?
Visual organization
I like to scan. Not only texts or now Youtube rich data videos, but also my calendar. To do this I do a simple thing that I usually avoid in spreadsheets: use colors to differentiate between different client and internal projects.
This way I can quickly get an idea of what I have to do today, tomorrow and for the rest of the week. It is also a good idea to always look ahead a week so as not to lose sight of any bigger tasks that require more time.
From my point of view, your calendar says a lot about your level of organization.
If you have a lot of gaps despite having a lot of work, it is probably because you can organize yourself even better. Your calendar is your friend.
